February 18, 2018 – Close to 200 runners composed of business professionals, local government employees, and professional as well as non-professional runners participated in the recently concluded Run with the Wind organized by North Luzon Renewables (NLR) at the NLR Wind Farm and the surrounding barangays of Caparispisan, Caunayan and Balaoi in the municipality of Pagudpud.
For the fourth straight year, North Luzon Renewables (NLR) received the “Corporate Safety and Health Excellence Award” from the Safety & Health Association of the Philippine Energy Sector, Inc. (SHAPES) and the Department of Energy (DOE) for operating without lost time accident (LTA) from the period November 2016 to October 2017.
Three years since it started its reforestation initiatives in the mountains of Pagudpud, North Luzon Renewables (NLR) has completed and even exceeded the replanting requirement set by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
